Meat Grinder is a mechanical device specially used to grind whole pieces of meat or other ingredients into fine particles. It is widely used in home kitchens, catering industry, food processing plants and other fields. It pushes the raw materials to the knife disc through a spiral propulsion device, and then the high-speed rotating blade and screen cooperate to complete the cutting, and finally grind the raw materials into meat fillings or food minced with the required particle size.

According to the power source, Meat grinders can be divided into manual and electric types. Electric Meat grinders are more widely used, especially in commercial places. Their efficient meat grinding speed and stable performance have become one of the important equipment for meat pretreatment.

Uses:

Home use: Used in daily making dumpling fillings, meatballs, hamburgers, and sausages. It is especially suitable for home users who pursue food safety and taste control.

Small and medium-sized restaurants: Used to efficiently make various meat filling products, such as spicy beef slices, minced meat for barbecue skewers, etc., to ensure daily preparation efficiency.

Large central kitchens or meat processing plants: High-power models are widely used in pre-prepared dishes, prepared foods, and frozen meat products companies, and are combined with conveyor belts and cutting systems to form continuous automated processing lines.

Pet food processing: It can grind bone and meat mixed ingredients for the preparation of pet food in the BARF raw feeding system.

Material:

Body material: Commonly used are aluminum alloy, ABS engineering plastics, and stainless steel (plastics are mostly used for home use, and stainless steel is mainly used for commercial use)

Blade material: high carbon steel, stainless steel, tungsten steel coating (hardness up to HRC60 and above, strong wear resistance)

Screen material: high-quality 304 stainless steel, thickness of more than 1.5mm, laser precision punching

Auger shaft core: heat-treated alloy steel, high structural strength, suitable for heavy-load high-speed rotation

Features:

A variety of screen configurations to meet different fineness requirements: Meat grinders are usually equipped with screens of different apertures, such as 3mm (fine grinding), 5mm (medium grinding), and 8mm (coarse grinding), which can be quickly replaced to achieve a variety of mincing effects, suitable for dumplings, sausages, hamburgers, stuffed vegetables, etc.

High-speed rotating blade improves cutting efficiency: high-quality blades are made of quenched or high-carbon steel, with a rotation speed of up to 180-220rpm (about 100rpm for home use). Combined with spiral propulsion, it can mince 3-5 kg of meat within 1 minute.

Reverse unblocking design to ensure continuous operation: when encountering ligaments or stuck materials, the motor reversal function can be used to exit the material, reduce the frequency of disassembly and cleaning, and improve operation continuity. It is especially suitable for commercial kitchens that need to run for a long time.

Quick disassembly and assembly structure, clean and efficient: the machine structure is mostly modular design, such as the knife disc, blade, auger, and hopper can be disassembled by tools, suitable for daily cleaning and high-temperature disinfection, avoid bacterial growth, and comply with HACCP specifications.

Anti-overload design to ensure the service life of the motor: equipped with a thermal protector, when the motor works for a long time or is blocked and causes heat, it automatically cuts off the power to prevent the motor from burning.

Multifunctional expandability, one machine for multiple uses: can be connected to sausage stuffers, fruit and vegetable shredders, sauce grinders, etc., to achieve multiple functions such as mincing meat, stuffing sausages, grinding hot sauce, etc., one machine for multiple uses, suitable for merchants with limited space.

Sturdy and durable material combination: 304 stainless steel is used as the main food contact part, which is not easy to rust. The knives are mostly made of high-hardness tool steel, and the augers are mostly made of alloy steel or stainless steel, with high strength and long service life.

Advantages:

High meat mincing efficiency and strong production capacity: household machines can process about 0.5-1kg of meat per minute, commercial machines are up to 3-5kg/min, and industrial-grade machines can even reach 10kg/min, greatly improving production efficiency. For example, a 2200W industrial model can mince 300kg per hour.

Reduce labor intensity and cost: Automated meat mincing can reduce the repeated manual mincing process. Each device can replace 2-3 workers, effectively reducing labor costs. It is suitable for chain restaurants, pre-prepared food factories and other scenes that require batch processing.

Uniform mincing effect, improve the taste of dishes: the particle size is controlled by precision knife disc and screen, so that the meat filling is consistent, which is conducive to uniform seasoning, delicate taste, and improved product quality. For example, hamburgers or sausages have strict requirements on particle structure, and the meat grinder can be stably controlled.

Safe and hygienic, avoid cross contamination: the equipment is made of seamless welded stainless steel, the surface is smooth and not easy to leave residue, and it is easy to clean; all disassembled parts can be washed and sterilized at high temperature to avoid cross contamination of food ingredients, which meets food processing standards.

Save kitchen space and operation and maintenance costs: the household machine is small in size, generally 30x20x25cm in size, and the commercial medium-sized equipment is between 45x35x40cm, with a small footprint, suitable for small kitchens; easy maintenance, long blade and motor life.

Easy to use, low operating threshold: the button-type operation interface is clear, with switch, reversal, and overload light indication, users only need simple training to use it proficiently, suitable for front-line kitchen staff to quickly get started.

Applicability of various raw materials: It can not only grind pork, beef, chicken, etc., but also meat with tendons, fruits and vegetables, gluten mixtures and even small bones and cartilage. It has a wide range of applications and improves equipment utilization.

Silent noise reduction design, more friendly kitchen environment: Many models are equipped with silent motors and buffer pads to control the operating noise within 60-75 decibels, reduce noise pollution, and improve kitchen comfort.

Long-life operation guarantee: High-quality product blades can be used for more than 2000 hours, and the motor has a continuous operating life of more than 5000 hours (about 3 years of use cycle), which greatly reduces the frequency of maintenance and replacement.

FAQ:

Is the meat grinder easy to get stuck when encountering fascia or bones?

High-quality meat grinders are equipped with a reversing function, which can clear the fascia tissue in time. Some industrial-grade models are also equipped with bone cutters, which can grind meat with small bones.

Does meat need to be pre-processed?

It is recommended to cut the meat into 3-5cm small pieces and remove large bones and tendons, which can not only extend the service life of the blade, but also improve the efficiency and fineness of the meat.

Will the use of a meat grinder cause nutrient loss?

No. Meat grinding is a purely mechanical cutting process that does not produce high temperature or chemical changes, and will not destroy major nutrients such as protein and iron.

Is the equipment noisy when running?

The noise of a household electric meat grinder is between 60-70 decibels; commercial models may reach 80-85 decibels due to the high motor power. It is recommended that commercial places set up a separate meat grinding area or install a silencer.

How often do blades need to be replaced?

Under normal use, household use only needs to be replaced once a year; in commercial high-frequency use environments, it is recommended to check the sharpness every 3-6 months and replace or grind if necessary. The service life of high-carbon steel blades can reach 2000 hours.
