Drum classifier

In industries such as fruit and vegetable processing, central kitchens, and snack foods, material grading is a key process to ensure product consistency and enhance product value. The drum classifier is designed specifically for spherical, elliptical, T-shaped, and approximately shaped materials, achieving fully automatic screening and grading, significantly reducing manual labor, and improving grading quality and output.

Product Introduction

This machine adopts a multi-stage drum screen structure. After the material enters the rotating drum, it rotates with the cylinder and moves forward. Materials of different diameters are sorted in multiple stages from the corresponding aperture of the screen section. The drum speed can be adjusted, and the falling force can be flexibly controlled according to the crispness of different types of materials, effectively reducing impact and damage.

Applicable materials

The drum grading screening machine is particularly suitable for the following types of spherical, elliptical, or similar T-shaped products:

Dried fruits: betel nut, jujube, winter jujube, hawthorn

Fresh vegetables: small tomatoes (cherry tomatoes), garlic, horse hooves, diced vegetables (such as carrots, white radishes, etc.)

Fruits: peaches, oranges, plums

The mesh aperture and number of segments can be customized according to the actual size of the material.

Key Features

The machine comes standard with a speed regulating motor, and the drum speed can be freely adjusted according to the type of material:

For brittle and easily damaged materials (such as fresh winter dates and tomatoes), low-speed operation is adopted to reduce rolling impact force.

For materials with high hardness, such as betel nut and unripe jujube, the speed can be appropriately increased to ensure grading efficiency.

By controlling the speed, the product is guaranteed to be undamaged to the maximum extent and the yield is improved.

Unified grading standards, efficiency far exceeds manual labor

The drum screen adopts precision punching, with small aperture tolerance and consistent grading standards. The output can reach 800-1000kg/h, and one machine can replace several or even more graded workers, significantly reducing labor costs and intensity.

Multi stage separation, compact structure

The overall length of the machine is 2500mm, and multiple levels of separation can be achieved within a limited space. The material enters from the feeding port, passes through different screening stages, and falls into their respective discharge hoppers, which can be connected to the packaging station or conveyor belt.

Easy to clean and maintain

The whole machine is made of stainless steel material (with 304 stainless steel in contact with the material), which is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. Meet the hygiene requirements for food processing.
